## Right of Withdrawal
### Your Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason, subject to any exceptions provided by applicable consumer protection legislation.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by a clear statement before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period. You may do so by using our online withdrawal form/return button (where available) or by contacting our Customer Services team.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.
### Returning the Goods
Once you have notified us that you wish to withdraw, you must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days of notifying us.
Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service, as returned goods remain your responsibility until they are received by us.
### Condition of Returned Goods
You are entitled to inspect goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and, where appropriate, their functionality, in the same manner as you would be permitted to do in a physical retail store.
Returned goods should be sent back:
* complete and with all original components;
* in their original packaging wherever reasonably possible;
* adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit;
* clean and free from contamination;
* without labels, tape or markings applied directly to the manufacturer's packaging; and
* in a condition suitable for resale where possible.
### Reduction in Refund for Diminished Value
You are responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
When assessing the value of returned goods, PlanetCandy may take into account, where relevant:
* the condition of the product and its packaging;
* whether seals or protective packaging have been removed or damaged;
* the remaining shelf life of the product;
* whether the product has been stored outside our control;
* whether the product can lawfully and safely be resold;
* whether the product remains suitable for retail sale as new;
* any damage sustained during return transit due to inadequate packaging; and
* any other factor affecting the commercial value of the goods.
Where a returned product has suffered a reduction in value, an appropriate deduction will be made from any refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where returned goods have no remaining commercial value or cannot lawfully or safely be resold as new due to their condition or other relevant circumstances, the deduction may equal the full value of the goods.
Each return will be assessed individually on its own facts.
### Food and Drink Products
As many of the products supplied by PlanetCandy are intended for human consumption, we are unable to verify how products have been stored, transported or handled after delivery.
Returned food and drink products will therefore be carefully inspected upon receipt. Where their condition, storage history, packaging, remaining shelf life or any other relevant factor means they cannot lawfully or safely be resold as new, this will be taken into account when assessing any reduction in value in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
### Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will be processed using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied satisfactory evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first.
Original delivery charges will be refunded only to the extent required by applicable law. Additional charges arising from your selection of a premium delivery service are not refundable where the law permits.
### Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exemption under applicable consumer legislation applies, including (where relevant) goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, or goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
### Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or supplied in error. If this occurs, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can resolve the issue.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within 14 days of receiving your order. If we have not yet despatched the goods, we will cancel your order and make an immediate repayment. You can cancel an order by emailing info@planetcandy.ie Otherwise if the item has been dispatched then you must return the item to us.
RETURNING AN ITEM
If you have already received the goods but wish to cancel your order, you will need to make the return within 14 days of receipt. Once we have received your goods, we will credit you with the value of the returned goods.
If you are returning an item because of an error made on our part or because it is defective, we will be more than happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the goods to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise, you will be responsible for delivery charges in connection with your purchase.
To return an item, send the goods to the address below quoting your order number and reason for cancellation, e.g. defective items. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Whilst Planet Candy makes reasonable effort to ensure we sell only the highest quality goods, we do not offer any guarantee or warranty schemes other than those offered by the product manufacturers.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Republic of Ireland and both you and Planet Candy agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
