Flying Saucer Sweets 300 Pieces
Flying Saucer Sweets by Frisia in a bulk size tub containing 300 saucer sweets.
Flying Saucer Sweets are sherbet filled flying saucer shaped candy with a light wafer shell on the outside and a fizzy flavoured powder inside.
These sherbet-filled, rice paper discs were launched in the 1950s when a Belgian manufacturer of Holy Communion, named Belgica, realised demand was falling and they needed to find a new way to boost business. After a quick brainstorming session, they realised they could make a tasty sweet sandwich out of two slices of wafer and a sweet sherbet filling. Their legacy...one of the tastiest and best loved retro sweets of all time. They come in an assortment of colours, including green, yellow, pink and even blue flying saucer sweets. Yum.
